With focuses on Voluntary Agreements, animal feed, and consumer behaviour

Four interactive working groups in 2018 and 2019 will provide a space for stakeholders to discuss policy options to reduce food waste. Three working groups will have specific policy focuses: voluntary agreements, animal feed, and consumer behaviour. A final event will provide an overview of the policy outcomes from the entire REFRESH project. These follow two working groups held in 2017.

The upcoming working groups will cover diverse topics and will provide participative forums for stakeholders to discuss policy recommendations.

Consumer Behaviour Working Group

REFRESH has uncovered insights on innovative approaches to achieve real consumer behaviour change related to food waste, based on empirical consumer behaviour research. During the Consumer Behaviour working group, REFRESH researchers and stakeholders will discuss evidence-based recommendations to design more effective policy interventions, with a particular focus on public campaigns.
