German radio station SWR explores research and innovation to reduce food waste, featuring an interview with REFRESH researcher Stephanie Wunder on REFRESH's contribution to food waste reduction.

The report goes into a variety of approaches being tested implemented along the entire food supply chain in Germany, from improved harvesting technologies, to IT-systems for better bakery management, and to consumer education. The report also features an interview with Professor Guido Ritter of the Münster University of Applied Sciences, a participant in the German National Pilot Working Platform of REFRESH.
