Voting is now open for the Public Award of the REFRESH Food Waste Solution Contest! The REFRESH Food Waste Solution Contest was launched in 2016 and received over fifty project submissions from across Europe. The aim of the contest is to recognize groundbreaking projects and ideas addressing food waste.

The Public Award winner will join two winners selected by the jury and have the opportunity to present their projects at the REFRESH Food Waste 2017 Conference on 18 May 2017 in Berlin, participate in the Incubator Day on 19 May 2017 and receive a REFRESH trophy prize.
How does the online voting work?
The public voting period starts on the 1 February 2017 and ends on 28 February 2017. Each person can vote once per day for the entire voting period (one vote is allowed per IP address per day). Votes are cast by clicking the "VOTE" button in the top right corner of the contest submission's page.
Who will vote in the award?
Voting is open to all members of the public.
When will the winners be announced?
All winners will be announced in March 2017 following the public voting period.
