A series of Case Studies from Germany, the Netherlands, Hungary and Spain. Deliverable D2.4.

A suite of case studies from across the EU, demonstrating actions to reduce food losses and waste.

A main part of REFRESH has been to test whether voluntary agreements can be applied to different political, social and economic situations. Germany, The Netherlands, Hungary and Spain piloted this approach, each forming a platform of key actors and influencers from along the whole supply chain and shaping a Framework for Action within a voluntary agreement.

Collaborative action involving these actors allows us to see the whole picture, and therefore efforts to tackle food waste can be targeted to the most impactful areas.

This report presents case studies from innovation projects in each of the pilot countries.
