A conference in May will present best practices to reduce food waste in Italy and give the opportunity to discuss the impact of Law 166/2016.

The conference "Less Waste, More Solidarity – The Italian Case and the Good National Practices" takes place on Tuesday 22nd May, from 12:30 to 14:30 at the European Parliament in room ASP 5E2.

It will be an opportunity to discuss the impact of Law 166/2016 which promotes the donation of surplus food for social purposes and to present best practices implemented in Italy.

Speakers include: Patrizia Toia, Maria Chiara Gadda, Simona Bonafe, Damiano Zoffoli, Giuliana Del Papa. European Commissioner for Health and Food Safety Vytenis Andriukaitis is invited to attend.
