The concluding conference of the joint project "Development, Testing and Dissemination of Concepts for Sustainable Production and Consumption in Out-of-House Gastronomy" - NAHGAST is taking place in Berlin from 21 - 23 February 2018.

The final conference of the joint project "Development, Testing and Dissemination of Concepts for Sustainable Production and Consumption in Out-of-House Gastronomy - NAHGAST, will:

  1.  present the results of the project and reflect on them in context with the current scientific discourse,
  2.  look retrospectively at the cooperation with practice and question the added value of transformative research for the different actors,
  3.  generate momentum for the sustainable transformation of the food system and raise open questions.

The audience is invited to participate in the dialogue, to learn more about the NAHGAST project and to follow the panel discussion with representatives from associations, politics and research. In addition, the conference offers the opportunity to exchange experiences, network and enjoy the diverse supporting programme!
Target group: Scientists of socio-ecological research as well as practice partners and other stakeholders of out-of-home gastronomy

The project NAHGAST is part of the funding initiative for sustainable management within the BMBF's Social-Ecological Research funding priority.
