Chatham House presents A Sustainable Food Future 2016: Climate Change, Urbanization and Innovation

International agreements on sustainability, increasing urbanization and climate change are putting pressure on the global food system. This year, the annual Chatham House Sustainable Food conference will bring together international policy-makers, commercial organizations and NGOs to address key discussion points. These include:

  • What are the implications of the COP21 and SDG agreements for food and agriculture?
  • How can governments, retailers and consumers play a role in reducing food waste across the supply chain?
  • How might new technologies and innovative farming methods help deliver carbon reductions in an urbanized world?
  • What infrastructure investment is needed to ensure resilience across the food system?

More information and a link to register is available on the conference website. Early birds registration runs until October 7th.
