The Incubator Day is co-hosted with the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) and their initiative "Too good for the bin!". The event is carried out in collaboration with the Food Surplus Entrepreneurs Network. This aim of this workshop is to bring food waste innovators and experts together to learn from each other, develop solutions to food waste issues in the food chain, and improve cooperation. A draft programme can be downloaded below.
The main target groups are entrepreneurs, companies in the food industry, and policy makers. All presentations will be in English, with the possible exception of facilitating one of six round tables in German.
Due to the limited capacity of the workshop (approx. 50 persons) the Incubator Day is by invitation or application only. We especially encourage projects and persons with interest in getting feedback and guidance on their projects and the particular problems they face. If you are interested in participating please write us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org by 6 March 2017 and tell us:
- your motivation for participation; and
- the experience/questions you have and would like to bring into discussion (or a challenge that you or your project currently face and would benefit from expert feedback on).
